6 HURT IN HEAD-ON CRASH
(11/27/09 - Montgomery Township) - 6 people
were hurt and transported to area hospitals after two vehicles
crashed head-on at the intersection of Horsham Road and Stump
Road.

Station 18 firefighters arrived to
find the two vehicles locked together in the middle of the
intersection with heavy front-end damage. 4 occupants of a
Toyota Highlander were able to exit their vehicle and get to the
sidewalk while medical personnel from Volunteer Medical Service
Corps (Station 345) assessed their condition.
3 other occupants in a Toyota Camry
were also hurt, with the driver having to be transported to an
ambulance via stretcher.
Firefighters stabilized and secured
the power to both vehicles, and spread significant amounts of
oil dry to soak up fluids leaking from both vehicles.
