CONSTRUCTION WORKER HURT IN FALL
December 12, 2014 - F.D.M.T. was called to provide a helicopter landing zone after a construction worker fell approximately 40 feet while working at a construction site. The worker reportedly fell through the roof of the township's new recreation center, now under construction at the corner of Stump Rd. and Horsham Rd. More>>>

ASSIST ON HORSHAM TOWNSHIP 2ND ALARM
November 22, 2014 - F.D.M.T. hit the street shortly before 4:30am for a second alarm assignment in Horsham Township. Heavy fire consumed a townhouse and damaged several others at the Brookwood Condominiums on Green Meadow Lane, leaving one person dead. More>>>

BABY BOOM!
The Fire Department of Montgomery Township is proud to announce the arrivals of its two newest members! Chief Bill Wiegman and his wife Amanda are the proud parents of a baby girl, and Deputy Chief Joe Simes recently welcomed a son! All are healthy and doing well. Congratulations to all!

MUTUAL AID IN NORTH WALES
October 17, 2014 - Rescue 18 responded to North Wales Boro, assisting Station 62 and other area companies with a basement fire in a dwelling. First arriving units were confronted by heavy fire and quickly went to work knocking it down. Stacks of books in the basement made initial suppression efforts difficult. F.D.M.T. firefighters assisted with overhaul and checked for extension to the first and second floors. There were no reported injuries.

WXTU LIVE FIREHOUSE BROADCAST
September 11, 2014 - In recognition of regional first responders from all disciplines, the 92.5 WXTU morning team of Doc and Andie conducted a live remote broadcast from our firehouse at Rt. 309 & Stump Road! See photos from the event here, and listen to some of the interviews!

1 HURT IN 2 ALARM APARTMENT FIRE
August 8, 2014 - F.D.M.T. responded overnight to a multi-alarm blaze that heavily damaged multiple units of an Upper Dublin Township apartment complex. More>>>
